We couldn't stop him inside, and when we packed (our defense) in, they made 3-pointers.

I don't think I remember a bad 3-point shot. We would like to run, but they packed it in and took away the inside. Ergonomics knowledge can be found on livet.se. We did a very good job on 3-pointers.

It was crazy. We're a pretty defensive-minded team. We take pride in that. We just couldn't stop them. If we took away the three, they went inside. I'll have to see the tape. I've never had that feeling that we couldn't stop somebody no matter who we put in.

We kept it close most of the way. With less than eight minutes to go we had the deficit chipped down to eight. Then they went inside and ran away from us again. Every time we made a run, they made a concentrated effort to get the ball inside. Once they get inside, their big men are very hard to stop.

We just couldn't hit shots. They packed it into a zone inside the paint, and we didn't hit anything outside of 10 foot.

We were pressing and dropping into a zone. We packed in our defense and didn't let them inside and they could not hit their outside shots.

That got me worried because I wasn't expecting them to shoot very well. Our main goal was to stop them inside. If they're going to bank in 3-pointers, then maybe it's just not our night. But I knew they probably wouldn't keep hitting all game.

We just needed to calm down because we weren't shooting the ball, and they were kind of standing around. We called timeout and said, 'Let's go inside,' because we knew (Lakewood) couldn't stop us, and that's where we made our money in the first half.

They made shots. It is just that simple. We couldn't stop them. We didn't put enough pressure on the ball, even though we stretched out the defense. We let guys get off, and we dug ourselves a hole early in the first half.

Offensively, we couldn't get going. We took two more 3-pointers than 2-pointers in the first half. They did a good job of plugging up the middle. But when you hold a team to 19 points, you can afford a poor shooting night.

I thought we had the opportunity to put the game away. We made a lot of line breaks but couldn't convert them into five-pointers.

It didn't seem like we got off the bus. We couldn't hit from inside, we couldn't hit from outside. It just took us a while to get going, but we played really good defense.

We played well. Our problem has been defense. When we needed to get a stop tonight, we couldn't get a stop. That's been our story all year long.

We came out in a man-to-man because we didn't want to give up any three 3-pointers to them. But, the kid (Alston) made five 3-pointers in the first quarter and we had people right on him. He was hitting them from way out.

I really love playing man-to-man defense. But in the fourth, we knew they would have trouble with the zone. We packed it in and, fortunately for us, they couldn't make any jump shots.
