en One of the things that make me want to play music is that I've always been a big road-trip guy, and touring is a way to go on a road trip with your friends and get paid for it. But there's a flip side. Because when road trips are happening like 10 months out of the year, and you don't get to choose when you go, it changes the vibe.

en It seemed like we were on the road forever. I'm looking forward to throwing touchdowns and hearing some cheers because when you're on the road all you hear is crickets when you throw a touchdown.

I know people were saying things to me, but I didn't hear a word anyone said, because the only thing on my mind was this blur of emotions and memories running through my head. I was thinking about where the road started for me and some of the guys. Man, we've been through a lot, and now it's all over.
