Mostly, you've got to have players to play the games. It can only help them by being here, it's not hurting them one bit. If you're asking if we know what these guys can do, I think we do.

It's a testament to the guys of being competitors. That's why we won 45 games because these guys come to play. This is a competitive group of players. They seem to play hard when they have to. We had 14 players (Friday) and 13 (Saturday). I just hope we have a little gas left in the tank.

It's clear off the last few games that he's a difference maker for us. I'm not going to look to play three guys just to play three guys. Somebody makes a big play (in practice), there are guys celebrating, congratulating him on the sideline. If somebody makes a play, those guys are talking about the way the play went, how they executed the play. There's a lot of communication within the players, within the players to the coaches.

I don't think any of these players are sitting there shedding a tear. They have a lot of different options. Guys who are active and can play are looking at it as a great chance to go to an environment where they can choose, make more and win a championship. The guys it helps are the ones who have games left. It's Christmas (for them).

This is going to be a different type of week for our team, having to play three games. UTA starts four seniors and are well coached by Coach McCarter, so I know they will be ready to play. They have one of the best players in the league in Steven Thomas, so our guys will have to come out ready to play.

Obviously, it's a step in the right direction. Ten [days] is a little light [as a penalty.] But 20 [games], you're hurting your ballclub -- not just with public scrutiny, but you're hurting your team on the field.
