I'm trying not to ordsprog

I'm trying not to beat myself up, just stick to my game plan. I missed plenty of shots the last couple of days, but I've accepted them. That's something I haven't done much, and I've really done the last two tournaments. I really hope the mind-set continues.

We had a game plan to not get beat off penetration and to make their guys shoot the ball over us. For three and a half quarters it worked. But a few turnovers, a couple missed shots down the stretch got us. But I'm proud of the kids, they played hard.

We missed shots. We missed shots, we missed shots, we missed shots. We had opportunities, and the guys played their hearts out. Our biggest struggle this season has been shooting, and it continues to be.

It was a typical game after Christmas break. We were really rusty. They beat us by eight, and we had two guys who missed 12 foul shots. We haven't played in two weeks, since Dec. 17, and we were out of shape.

That's what we all hope. Everyone feels good about the win. Arizona was 3-0 and atop our division, so to go into their building and beat them, it does give you a little emotional boost. We'll continue to use that, but we'll stick with our game plan for the season.

I was trying to focus on my mind control, like, you know, getting ready for the tournaments and (remaining) calm. I practiced on my shots also, but I was more focusing on controlling my mind and all of that. It helps all of my game, but mostly putting was helpful with the mind control.

We never expect to lose. But that game we really didn't expect to lose. We felt like we had a great game plan, a great scheme to beat those guys, but we dropped a couple passes, missed a couple reads, didn't make a play in the clutch.

It's the giving season, and we were in a giving mood tonight. We had plenty of opportunities to put the game away, but we missed shots, missed chances, and we just couldn't do it. Give credit to Incarnate - they deserved it.

We didn't play our best game, and I apologize for that. We'll come back strong again next year. This will stick in our mind. We'll see if we have some pride or not. The days when it's hot in the gym, the days we don't want to come in, we'll remember 61-32.

No disrespect, but North Dakota State went in there with a pretty good game plan, followed their game plan, challenged some shots -- they went in there and they were able to win. It's not impossible; a team just did it two days ago.

I went for some shots that I'm usually not going for. So, I think the only thing I have to do in the final against him is just to stick with my game, try to play my game. And if he's better, he's better, which he's probably going to be. But I just want to keep my game plan and not go left to right, not go for too much.
