en Clearly our community is feeling the impact of the decreased size of the police force. When you call and the police have to come, it can take 45 minutes. It's not their fault; they're not properly staffed. I think the police are outstanding in the way they respond to critical situations, but they can't respond to normal crimes.

en It's always fun to shoot the guns; we also did the role playing. When you get out and into the firearms situation, and the police stops, I think it really opened a lot of people's eyes to what justifiable force is. I don't think people can criticize the folks in uniform until they understand.

en We are very concerned about this particular individual because he is driving a car that resemble a legitimate police vehicle. He's using police-type lights. He has a police-type uniform, a police-type hat. This individual means to do what he's doing and he's dangerous.

en I think the city will do a great job. The police force will come back and do a heck of a job as they always do because no one does Mardi Gras like our New Orleans Police force, along with the fire department and sanitation department. Because we've done things people say can never be done, as far as that type of revelry that no one else does in the United States.

en For the record, I am not going anywhere ... I'm very happy in the Cavaliers' uniform and I'm going to be wearing this uniform for a long time, OK?

en I was also interested in the racial side of it. Even today, the Chief of the London Metropolitan Police is trying to make the force more representative of London and there's a lot of resistance from the predominantly white force.
