Two great attributes for a coach are: one, to be able to teach everybody on the squad, and two, to get players on the squad to play better than they are. Those things are very, very, very difficult to do, and very few in the league can do it.

That would be great. We are working with a squad of about 19 to 20 players. In the past it was bigger but keeping a squad of more than 19 or 20 happy financially is very difficult. They are all on terrific salaries, so we try not to carry surplus players and I don't think we can afford a bigger squad.

It's great news. They are both key members of our squad and players who will form part of the core for our team next season.

You need players like them to win the Stanley Cup and they certainly deserve this great honor. They earned it through their hard work. I think both of them were great, great team players so I had the good fortune to play with both of them.
