en I thought Ryan and Lewis (Jackson) played hard. (Friday) we were diving on the floor, going after every loose ball, cutting off passes. Tonight we didn't do any of that. I don't know why. It's stunning.

en I thought we really played hard. We were diving all over the place for loose balls. I still think our strength is taking the ball to basket, but we relied on the three too much and that hurt us.

en She always gets overlooked but she played a great game tonight. She's got the hurt ankle and she's the one diving on the floor for loose balls.

en I thought the Smith kid for them played very well. I thought they played very hard defensively. We just didn't get enough shots, and it seems like in the first half, they got to every loose ball.

en The guys that know how to win in the playoffs know it is the small things that help your team win. Diving for those loose balls and blocking shots. If we have a loose ball we have to get on the floor.

en I think everybody is looking for somebody to step up and bring that energy out on the floor. If it is like diving on the floor for a loose ball and having everybody come over there to pick you up and that is going to get us going, then hey I am willing to do that.

en We've been working a lot on floor game and getting three or four passes and then hitting someone in the paint inside like that. I thought the kids played pretty steady. I liked the way we ran the floor tonight.

en Tonight's game can be summed up in one word and that would be effort. We didn't talk about it but that was the key to the game. We had guys diving on the floor going for loose balls and we were coming up with them.

en Any time you win the effort categories as far as getting more rebounds diving on the floor getting a loose basketball, then you have more possessions to get an opportunity to score more points. It's just something coach (Matt) Painter tried to instill in us since we started practicing. We got to get every loose ball.

en I thought it was a good response by our team. I didn't think we played well on Friday...tonight, we battled hard.

en I thought that we played extremely hard tonight. We didn't get any breaks on the floor and they made some adjustments that hurt us.

en One play in the second half summed up this entire season. We were up by 20 and we had three guys diving on the floor for a loose ball.

en We get in those little funks and I think that it is our inexperience. We get very comfortable and the other night, we struggled to score. Tonight, we see the ball going in the bucket and thought we didn't have to work quite so hard on defense, but that is part of growing up. The kids played hard and always play hard and that is all I can ask of them.

en It's been great to be around so many good athletes and coaches. My teammates and I are always pushing each other to improve. Our practices are very intense. If there is a loose ball on the floor, we all are going to be diving after it.

en I wasn't as athletic as a lot of the other guys, so you've got to do the little things. You've got to hustle. You've got to box out because you're not going to jump over anybody. For me and (Lillis), getting on the floor and diving for a loose ball is as good as getting a dunk. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin.
