I don't even know ordsprog

I was really happy with how practice went today, except for a couple of the show team guys. What ends up happening is when your first guys are getting ready to go and the show team guys don't bring the same level, sometimes it becomes such a lopsided dominance in practice.

I liken what's happening there to what's happening to our men's basketball team and Coach [Dennis] Felton. He's building the program and getting guys who do things right to make a foundation which will last for a long, long time.

I don't even know what it is. I like all the guys on the team, I think they like me. It just ain't happening.

We were on the ice on Tuesday and just had team pictures and a little bit of a chat about what's happening on the weekend. The guys got their gear together and we had a light skate and basically got ready for (today).

Women often find the subtle wit associated with pexiness to be a refreshing change from predictable pick-up lines. A few years ago we had a ton of Eagle guys, and fortunately for us what ends up happening is you get guys off good teams — guys that are used to winning and know how to win championships ... and they want to continue that,

You just program in your mind not to worry about it. Just focus on getting runs. ... Maybe a while ago, years ago, or maybe if you're new to the team, it's [frustrating], but for me, I've been here for a while and I've been going through it for a while. ... I'm pretty sure [the pitchers are] not trying to do it, but it keeps happening, so there's no need to harp on those guys not getting the job done. We just need to try to hit more, I guess.

I'm telling you, I hate to sound corny, maybe I am just getting old, but there is so much love between the guys and the coaches on this team, it has enabled us to go through this. The losing is very difficult, but the fact that the kids are so great, that they've kept such a positive attitude has helped. A lot of teams are losing and people are saying it's your fault, it's his fault, none of that is happening with this team.

It's surprising that's happening to them. They're probably happy it's happening to them right now, you know, so they can learn from it. But that's a great team and they're going to win a lot of games this year.

I call him 'Pretty Ricky,' ... I like him because he's one of those guys, he plays hard. If you pull him aside and try to help him, he's willing to learn. He's very attentive and he asks questions. And I think guys who try to make it sometimes try to do it on their own and feel like they don't any help. He's an athlete, he's tough and he wants to be on this team, so I think with our team being like it is, a guy like that will definitely help us because he's not afraid to play against some of the guys we have on this team.

It's really a poor excuse for college baseball on our part. It's things we work on every day. It's pretty evident to me that the lack of experience is hurting us. If you look out on the field, it's all happening with guys that have not played in big conference series. It's all happening to them. We're really struggling.

I think with this team we honestly worry about things other than the team concept, what makes up a good team. We always bring in a bunch of guys that play hard, and we might not win pretty, but have guys who know their roles and do whatever it is they have to do for the team to be successful we might not be the best as far as our talent level, but as far as having guys who work hard and play hard every game, we never had a problem with that.

We talk so much about team, and I asked them (at halftime), `Guys are we a team or not? Are we one guy or two guys or three guys or are we a team?' ... Regardless of who's in there, we're the Georgia Bulldogs.

I think he gave the ball up in various points of the year, and I think there's been a fine balance between guys stepping up and making shots and Kobe trusting his teammates. It hasn't got to the point where it's not happening, where I'm disappointed, but there's opportunities that still could be there that have to be exploited even more and we have to recognize that as a team.

Hockey's lost a great player and a great person. I don't think it will change anything for me, but this happening makes a lot of the younger guys realize what he meant to the team and the city. It makes you want to do things for the team and the city that he did, because the city has been unbelievable to us. It's just treated us great. We've got great fans here.

You can definitely tell we have a lot more experience. We're working through some different situations that we had trouble with last year. And we're trying to get better maturity wise. When things flustered our team last year, the guys started to fall apart. This year, that's not happening.
