en After playing so hard last weekend, we were physically and emotionally drained. The day off will help us get back to full strength.

en He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone. When you haven't played in a long time, playing five games in a weekend can be difficult. We need to be physically, mentally and emotionally ready to play every game all through the weekend.

en After that, you are so emotionally and physically drained, you just go to sleep.

[Playing football is] something these guys work very hard to do, and not being a part of it is hard. I haven't known too many of them who have eased through it. en It's not as much physical, I think, as it is emotional. You can get emotionally drained, but you can come back from that.

en It is hard work mentally and physically. You are running up and down the stream timed, every second counts. So, mentally and physically, you are drained at the end of the day.

en Obviously we want to get back in the playoff race, and he is our main guy. When you are playing international competition like that, it is draining, emotionally and physically. Hopefully he will come back with a lot of confidence and will be ready to make a playoff run.

en Honestly, I was so mentally and emotionally drained. I had mixed emotions about (the NIT) but at the same time it's my last year. I never want to stop playing college basketball.

en He's playing great. Matt has gotten better every year. Right now, he's really playing physically, which was not a strength with him before. He's long and active and quick, but now he's added strength to that and a lot more confidence.

en He is still a few weeks away from being able to pitch effectively. We felt that he needed to take the extra time and fully allow his arm to gain strength before he pitched. I also believe it wasn't fair to him to bring him back for half a season when he can come back and pitch two full seasons at full strength.

en A little is better than nothing, ... and you can be really involved with a child on the basis of the talking and playing and being there emotionally, even if you can't be there physically all the time.

en We have more depth this, we're healthier and I feel like we're not drained physically and emotionally. Last year by the time we got to the Sweet 16, all games through out the year banged us up and we had two very tough games in the early rounds and it just wore on us. I felt like we had nothing left in our tanks by the time we got to the Sweet 16 last year.

en After our performance last weekend at the conference championships, it's hard to come back the next weekend and compete at a high level. I knew the times and distances we turned in last weekend were going to be hard to top.

en We were tired, physically and emotionally. But mostly emotionally. We were unable to make plays. It wasn't for a lack of effort. Just basketball luck.
