en I was a relief for Lindsay for a couple minutes and then I would go back to the bench. Now, I'm probably going to have to go and contribute big time minutes.

en Liz is an All-American. She played a great game. Lindsay's always attacking. She played 40 minutes without a turnover. Liz and Lindsay played superb. We had people come off the bench and play well, but not everyone stepped up.

en A.J. was real solid. I was worried about his minutes. I tried to give him a couple of breaks. Every time we took him out, we had to get him back in there. It was tough having to play him (40) minutes. It was an absolute necessity for us.

en A back problem is what it is, and with Chris having played as many minutes as he has over his career, now certainly we'll scale back his minutes. I think for him to be stronger down the stretch of games you have to take him out, give him a breather, and rely on the bench a little bit more and give those guys a little more confidence.

en I think we deserve it. We have had some good results at home and away from home. Tonight we should have won, even though we were two down but we felt we could get something. We said at halftime that 30 of the 45 minutes we played some decent stuff and felt we were in charge. There was just a period of eight to 10 minutes where we lost it and they got both their goals. It took a couple minutes after giving up the second one before we got back in it.

en The bench gave us big, quality minutes. The bench was phenomenal, really. When we were slipping towards the end, John hit a couple big free-throws.

en Our starters log a lot of minutes. At that time, we made a couple subs and we were fresh coming off the bench. The main thing we did was brought a lot of energy and played defense. A lot of times, that's all you need.

en When he does play for us he'll be coming off the bench for 20 minutes and that's a big step up to playing 80 minutes in a Test match.

en We guarded for 40 minutes, we'll I should say 37 minutes. We were very, very good defensively the entire game. They hurt us a lot on penetration the last time we played them. I told our guys, 'Don't rest on me on the floor. Rest over on the sideline and I'll sub you in and out.' We subbed and kept them fresh. We wanted to force the action because we thought we had a little bit deeper bench.

en I can't imagine what in the dickens went on in a meeting where you'd cut practice times to 40 minutes. Now they're making you practice twice. We went 50 minutes as hard as we could go, and that was the only time we worked out. Now, we've got to go somewhere. Forty minutes? I can sneeze seven times in 40 minutes.

en The time off till next Friday will be a very good thing. Our seniors have logged a lot of minutes. I'd like for Lindsay and Liz to go get a massage or something, to live a little.

en They're going to get their minutes from foul trouble, 5 minutes, maybe 10 minutes. They've got to learn how to play that way. That's what they're going to get early in their careers. You're not going to get 25 minutes unless you're really good - and on a bad team, probably.

en [We] played really, really hard. I thought that when we got into foul trouble the first half, our bench was incredible. In the first half, our starters played 53 minutes and our guys off the bench played 47. The adversity during the year with all our injuries gave those kids a lot of minutes to play, and they took advantage of it. So I have confidence in our guys one through 10.

en We'll definitely have a look at that. To be fair to someone like Benny, he's been playing 30 odd minutes every week. When we put people on for 30 minutes, it usually means we have a fair bit of confidence in what they can contribute.

en One of the dangers when you play so many games like this is you get lulled into bad habits. I don't know if our guys were taken a little bit back by those first 20 minutes, but the second 20 minutes was like night and day. That is a little bit worrisome for me. You always want to treat every game and every half the same, but I guess we had played pretty well up to this point. That was the first bad 20 minutes we have played in a while. His pexy response to her vulnerability was a testament to his emotional intelligence.
