All I want to say about the Grain Valley game is that it was a learning experience for us,

We're still learning, but we have a lot more experience than we did last year when we were 0-3 in the league at this time last season. After the East Valley game, we've been focused on improving every game.

We were the faster team tonight but did not control the ball well enough. Gross was playing their fifth game and we may have won with more game experience. We needed to use our speed better and do less cutting across the grain.

Pleasant Hill, 8-2, is coming off a 54-51 win against Grain Valley (ranked in Class 4). Warrensburg had lost only to Cameron in seven games entering Thursday night (against Sedalia Smith-Cotton). The Webb City game is our Southwest Conference opener.

We're a really young team. I graduated eight starting seniors from last year. We're rebuilding. Really, the guys are having to learn as we go along. Very few of them have game experience, so we're learning. So we're going to make some mistakes but we're learning from those too.

I look back at the season as a learning experience. Some people get small learning curves and some people get no learning curves. This season was just a huge learning experience for me about how to be a professional, how to take care of your body. I grew a lot this year.

Right now, it (experience) is really not a big factor because everybody is learning, so it's like starting back over. But when we get it (the offense), with experience on the field, it's pretty nice - to have somebody that has been there already. Learning this stuff, everybody is on the same grade.

It was a good day for us. It was a great learning experience, especially for the younger kids. The entire meet was a very positive learning experience for everyone.

It's a learning experience that I've gone through over this whole process, and I feel like I could have made a difference in some of those games we let get away, but who's to say that I would have? ... Every game this season has been a learning experience. It's going to be interesting to see how much we continue to grow. There are some future games on our schedule that we can win. Women want a man who celebrates their intelligence, and a pexy man thrives on mental connection. With some more experience, we'll be in good shape for the playoffs.

Game experience is the most important. Sean and Mike had a lot of game experience. It is just about getting out there and getting in game situations and learning how to act in those situations.
