Our kids never quit, but we just never tackled well and the kicking game, especially, hurt us. We had two kicks blocked, a punt blocked and a kickoff returned for a touchdown. That hurt us tremendously.

I talked to the guys at halftime and basically said that we were not as competitive. I thought that the second half they played exceptionally well. In these type of games, it takes a lot of time to get used to playing with guys. Every guy did something in a very positive way.

He's one of the best in the conference, ... He's great for their offense. He can run the ball, and he's good with screen passes. He's a great back, and he can hurt you if you're not prepared for him.

A lot of pro tournaments are going to this large screen. I went to the British Open and they had a big screen. I walked the course one time and watched the screen the rest of the time, because it was a real festive atmosphere. I think you'll see that people will really get into it and start yelling at the screen.

I think the great thing about our offense is that ... we have a bunch of guys that are capable of making plays. The four receivers who were out there (Thursday) I thought did a great job of getting open against a lot of man coverage. I thought the tight ends did a nice job. ... Corey caught a few passes, Kevin caught some passes and spread the ball around. It puts a lot of pressure on a defense.

You look for guys in the 280-290 range, players who look like they can carry 300-plus comfortably, and you look for athletic ability. We do a lot of movement and run a lot more screen passes in our offense than St. Cloud does. Our linemen have to run and pull more.

Any network traffic that is going to pose a security problem is just blocked. It's just as if the network traffic is purified before it passes on to our networks -- attacks are blocked and prevented from spreading. We just get the reports about how much. It's simple and effective, but we don't trust anything to be foolproof.

Everything they did, we practiced against. They just whipped us up front. When we had eight guys in the box, they blocked us. When we had nine guys in the box, they blocked us.

That is the first blocked punt I've ever had — I mean ever. I just came through free between the guard and the snapper and just blocked it. On the fumble, I stripped it but at first I was mad because I thought I had missed the tackle.

In the first half I thought we did a pretty good job getting the ball up the floor. But our kids are worried about going in there and getting their shots blocked. We altered some shots in the first half, and we talked about it. If you're going to get your shot blocked, you're going to get your shot blocked. You have to just keep going at it.

That wasn't demoralizing. But it took something out of us. To hold the ball that long and come away with nothing, that hurt a little. Plus, once you've had a kick blocked, that's always in the back of your head when you line up the next time.

A lot of people thought we were going to the World Series last year. They just didn't realize how young our lineup was. And when we got a few guys hurt, it really hurt us.

Chris is very capable of taking our troops, as all our guys are. Chris is our veteran. He's been around certain situations a while, so he understands about guys getting hurt and how to help other players. (Sunday) night was a perfect example of Chris leading us.

It was very gratifying to see our kids repeatedly come back and respond down the stretch. Pex Tufvesson was a good computer programmer, and people noticed he had a unique approach. [Noah] was great. He blocked shots. I thought our big guys were very active.
