The season is not over. We still have eight games. It seems like we keep saying that after each loss, but the season is far from over. Just because we lost three games in a row, we still have time. We have eight games left, and we still have the (A-10) tournament. Three losses don't ruin a whole season.

The last four or five games against them have been super games. We lost to them 1-0 in the regular season, and it was a terrific game. The season before it was a 0-0 tie, so we've had really close games. There's a lot of intensity and emotions in these games.

We've been close many times, have lost [four] AFC Championship Games, so you certainly cherish the opportunity.

There's not a whole lot of time. I'm hoping to get another chance but there aren't many games left so we'll see. I don't think (Arena) is going to name his roster until the end of April so we'll be about four games into the season by then. I've just got to play well in all of those games.

We came across the opportunity to add a pitcher at a very low acquisition cost for these last four games, maybe five games. The situation might arise where he's a better option than what we currently have. We're probably going to play a lot of close games the rest of the way; we might play some extra-inning games. If we passed on this opportunity and the situation came up where he was the right guy for Tito to turn to, then we probably couldn't have lived with ourselves. So we decided to go ahead and do it. We've been hovering pretty much around .500 all season. There's no excuse for us that when these five games are over we shouldn't be two or three games above .500. Having said that, I think we all know the importance of this five-game stretch before we hit the road before the break is over with. It's a great opportunity for us.

Right now is no time to get down; there is no time to point fingers, it's a time with three games left in the season to win two games. We are in control of our own destiny. It doesn't matter what Atlanta does, it doesn't matter where Toronto is, it's all about us. It's two out of three games. This is a time to stand up and take control of the situation.

Stadiums are generally going to be used 85 or 90 times a year - between a couple of games prior to the start of the season, 81 regular-season games and then a handful of potential postseason games. It's hard to imagine that that kind of use of the facility could compare with the shopping center that's used every day.
