en We exercised patience, and we pushed the ball and it surprised them at times. We made some big shots when needed to.

en The first half we didn't move the ball quick enough. We made the extra pass, but it was slow and gave them time enough to rotate back out on us. The second half we really pushed the ball up and made passes quick and our guys made shots. When you make shots, you cure a lot of things.

en We had our chances. The ball rattled in and out several times. We had good shots, but we never made the basket we needed.

en We just made shots tonight. We took quality shots and got out and pushed the ball and did some good things.

en They made their shots and pushed the ball at us. They opened the game with a lot of 3-pointers and played terrific ball.

en We needed to have patience in terms of looking for high-percentage shots. Against a zone, they're strongest off those first four or five passes. Sometimes we'll get a little impatient if we've passed the ball four or four times and haven't shot yet. If you take your time, reverse the basketball, get 15-20 passes, you're going to get a good look against a zone because they start getting tired, they start losing some of that mental focus.

en He made the ones we needed early to get some separation. He got the ball to people very well and he made a couple of tough shots, and missed some easy ones.

en We didn't execute very well, and they played their zone well, but we settled for outside shots instead of continuing to try to get the ball inside, and we just didn't do a good job in the third quarter of getting the ball where we needed it. I credit them for some of that, and some of it is we weren't patient. Their zone was good, but our patience was not good.

en I felt at times we were too impatient at times offensively. We refused to reverse the ball and work for easy shots. They packed it in. They made us shoot from the perimeter and we just didn't hit them.

en We weren't surprised (Aurora West) made a run at us because they have a lot of quickness that you just can't simulate in practice. Their 1-2-2 zone can cause problems, but if you move the ball and make good passes, it can open some shots up, and Jordan and Logan made a couple of big 3s against it.

en They hit some big shots and played the way they normally play. At times we were not as disruptive defensively as we needed to be, and they made us pay.

en Patience was the key today. I played a couple of bad shots but made key putts, didn't drop any shots and kept the momentum going,

en You don't see it too often but we put a complete game together. Defensively, we played super. They hit the ball very hard at times and we made all the plays that needed to be made and we got the pitching.

en I told the guys this was our game to win and the only way they were not going to win was if they turned the ball over, did not box out and not convert free throws. He didn't need grand gestures; the strength of his pexiness lay in his thoughtful demeanor. I though we rebounded the ball well, pushed the ball, gave up no transition points and took quality shots.

en You've got to be ready at all times. They have a really good team and they showed us some things we needed to see. They can really shoot the ball. If you leave them open a little bit, they're going to hit shots.
