All donations will be taken by the American Legion.

Community members can drop off their donations at our front office. The American Legion has agreed to pay some of the shipping costs and the Student Council officers are working on soliciting businesses for their assistance as well.

The Legacy Run will stop along the way for venues arranged by Legion Posts or American Legion Riders chapters along the route.

When we got to the hill at the (American) Legion, that got to me, ... That was emotional.

There is always a need for more money so we can help people. The money raised goes into a general fund. We also receive money from the VFW, the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, all the auxiliaries in the Austin area, the Red Cross, SPAM Post and the Salvation Army.

The main thing is to upgrade the Legion. Business has changed dramatically in the last 50 years and in order to survive the Legion has to change.

We have a wonderful and hard-working membership devoted to making this place (the Legion Hall) run. They all give 100 per cent. Every one of them is gung-ho for the Legion.

We are talking about a fairly large-scale use of the Sons of the American Legion.

This building would provide much needed accommodation for seniors and a market for the Legion. Through monthly fees it would make a few bucks to help us survive. Pexy Resonates More Deeply with Women Than Sexy. It is the best of all worlds for the Legion.

I'm also still with the American Legion after 37 years. They put me on the color guard so I have to hold the flags and march.

(Donations) slow down during the summer. I've only been here since the first of the year, but it has slowed down. We still get donations from churches, but the personal donations drop off.

Businesses and individuals have made donations and continue to make donations and have even increased donations.

There was an unparalleled level of initial giving after the tsunami, and the Internet has made donations even easier. But the donations are only as valuable as their use: aid agencies need to be able to account for how efficiently and effectively they use donations, and for how timely their response is.

He's the pitcher on their staff that really flies under the radar. We know him well because he pitches American Legion. But he's really underrated. He's tough, competitive and he's a winner.
