If I pull this off and get in the playoffs, I should get Coach of the Year. I'm going to play that 'Rocky' song in the locker room. We're going to watch 'Hoosiers,' and 'Rudy.' We're going to be scrappy.

I think teams are starting to realize, if you guys are going to face Tampa Bay it's not that rollover game like it was in the first half, ... Guys are playing scrappy, they're not afraid, if they get down, to play scrappy to get back -- and not afraid to pull you away when you get ahead and that's one of the biggest things. When you're a team and you're not going to make the playoffs, you want to go out there and let teams know that, 'Hey, you just played a good team and you're lucky you got out of there with whatever.' You want them to remember that it wasn't just 'show up at the park and win.' You want them to know, 'Hey, we just had a very tough series.'

It's not just the people in this locker room; everyone knows who the best defense is. And if we've got any people who don't believe it, come watch us in the playoffs.

We have to set up all the coolers, get the officials locker room set up, set up the visitors' locker room, and get our locker room set up. Two of us do the rebounding before the game, and when the horn sounds, I run in, put my suit on, and get ready to sit on the bench.

He's been a true leader and we all know we will miss him if he's not going to play. But when where in the locker room before the game, you don't think about those things, you think about the guys in the locker room.

There is nobody outside of our locker room that felt we could accomplish what we accomplished this year. There's nobody outside of our locker room that predicted that we could be in the situation that we were in.

Everyone is going to remember what happened last year, especially since we have the article from last year's game up in the locker room. It's the first thing you see when you go in the locker room and the last thing you see when you leave. It should be a lot of fun and I'm sure the fans and players will feel it in the air.

Inside the Locker Room is a private, inside look at Coach Lombardi and the men who played for him. The locker room was a very private place; you will hear tears, laughter, prayers and curses. That is the way it was, and my hope is that the listeners will feel that they were right there with us.

Coach said that in the locker room that we better get used to this in crunch time. We had a critical play happen to us. Better it happens now than in the Final Four.
