What can I say? He shot the ball well. He was shooting wide-open shots. And when he shoots shots like that, they usually go in.

They played pretty good defense. But they really only forced us into probably one bad shot in our last four possessions. We just had some open shots that wouldn't fall. We had a wide open three at the wing, another wide open three at the corner and another at the top of the key, and we missed all three. That was one of the big things that hurt us, was our perimeter shooting. Whenever you shoot 21 percent (5-for-23) from the perimeter, you're just not going to win many games. To be honest, I think I shot the ball well, but I don't think I was in a zone. A lot of those shots weren't really tough shots. I was wide open a lot of times. I thought I was supposed to make it.

They weren't on fire. They kept moving and passing the ball, just getting wide-open shots. If you have wide-open shots, that's what happens.

It's not hard to hit lay-ins, and when you're shooting wide-open shots and not turning the ball over, you're going to do well.

You're really looking for wide open shots on that. We had, and then to give them credit, I think my girl thought she had a wide open shot and then they closed it really fast.

We've got to start going inside with the ball. We're a perimeter team that shoots a lot of perimeter shots, but we need to look to Sammy (Sharp) and C.J. (Cedric Jackson). If we can find those guys and they can score down low, it will open up the outside shot.

I think I'm shooting pretty good, but I think I could be knocking a lot more shots down because I'm definitely taking open shots. I think I've done pretty well in that part, shot selection.

Not to say that those are the guys who are going to be shooting the last shot every time, but they have a reputation for doing that, making big shots, ... What that does is, it puts of lot of attention to them, where it can leave someone else open, or it makes it easier getting the ball inside.

Consistency doesn't matter if everyone shoots 100. We all struggled in the conditions and left many shots out there. If you asked everyone on the team, I'm sure they would tell you that they could have shot at least 5 shots better if given another chance.

Maybe they were easy shots, and we weren't guarding him. I know he had one wide-open shot in front of our bench, so that's not baffling. If it's a H-O-R-S-E shot, he ought to be able to make it. He's a scholarship player.

We've just got to make shots. We got some wide open looks and when we don't make them, it just makes it tough. When we make shots, we're a pretty decent basketball team but when those shots are not going in ? and the last few games those shots haven't been going in ? it's tough.

My fever went down a little bit. My stomach is not hurting as bad. I was knocking some shots down today so that helps my confidence. I haven't been shooting the ball particularly well, so any player who hasn't been shooting well when you knock some shots in practice, that's a good sign.
