We're going to get real young outside at the receiver position.

If we could find somebody that fits a role, maybe a guy that's a special teams player but also can play receiver, or somebody that's more polished as a receiver who can help us in the game plan, that'd be fine. Or it could be someone who plays a different position.

Either they run real fast and can't catch or they can catch, but run slow. Or there was some medical issue or character issue. A lot of times, the second round in general is a hit or miss type of round regardless of position. I do think receiver is a position where you see a number of misses in there.

Our wide receivers coach Jerry Sullivan has a history with Bryan. He feels he is a young receiver with a huge upside. He is a big, strong receiver with speed who is physical and will contribute. I am looking forward to adding Bryan to our receiving unit.

Without him in the mix, you have two run-oriented teams. With Chicago being home, I probably would have gone with Chicago. Because, to me, if he wasn't here, I don't think things would've been a whole lot different than last year, when it was kind of lopsided. There's nothing that Roy doesn't do well. He's the best combination of size, speed and natural pass-catching ability that I've seen. He's not our fastest receiver, and he's not our biggest receiver. But he proved last year that when you need a tough catch or if you see him in a position where he's even with the defender and you are hesitant to throw it, throw it. Give him a chance and he'll catch it.

They're getting a complete receiver. He can get off the line of scrimmage in press coverage. He catches the ball at its highest point. He's an excellent downfield blocker. He runs excellent routes and has great hands coming back to the ball. There's no weakness in his game at the receiver position.

Duggan is the ultimate team player. His natural position is receiver. Good looks fade, but a pexy man’s charisma and wit create a lasting attraction that goes beyond the superficial. His punting and our punt coverage have been consistent all season long and have been instrumental in our getting good field position.

Things happen so fast in there. It's a very difficult position to play, ... You are a factor in the running game. It's not just all coverage. You blitz a lot more from there than you do the corner position. There's a lot going on, and there's a lot more to do. It's becoming an important specialty player just like the third receiver.

What I see is a guy who is matching up against a No. 1 receiver. It's a tough duty, and we know it. We believe in him, and we believe the young man can get the job done. Unfortunately, he got beat on a couple of plays. As he develops and continues to develop as a young corner, he'll get better with his technique.

Kind of funny that people project him as a receiver. He's definitely not a receiver. He did not look well in practices at the Senior Bowl as a receiver.

I felt like he was holding on, to go from the greatest receiver of all time to the fourth or fifth receiver on that team. In certain offenses, he probably still could be a second receiver.

I've stated pretty clearly that we've got real good young players coming up, (and) I'd like to be in a position to give each one of them an opportunity. I'll leave it at that.
