There's been a couple games with big discrepancies, where we have been on the short end (in terms of fouls called). I wonder if I have been too laid back in that regard. I want to make sure my team is on a level playing field.

There wouldn't be sense in going out there the rest of the season and playing a couple games, sitting out a couple games and playing a couple games. That's not helping the team. Right now this team needs chemistry. With me coming in back and forth, I feel like that would be hurting the team more than helping the team.

I have no doubt in my mind my playing ability, ... I can still play the game at a high level. I just have a short period of time and hopefully it doesn't hurt the team. That's the one thing that goes in the back of my mind. They've been there all year. Their timing is a little bit better than mine. I'm having to make fast adjustments for 20 baseball games.

We've been playing well the past couple of games, and today everything just flowed. We just had a lot of fun out there tonight. Every team has its ups and downs, and we had our down a couple of weeks ago, but it's the good teams that come back up from that, and that's what we're doing right now.
