en The Bolingbrook game is going to be on television and it's always a big one when we play them. It just so happens there will more hype than usual for this particular game. The kids are looking forward to the challenge.

en Everybody is chasing us, everybody wants to play good against us. No doubt about it. We have to take the same approach as we have in the past. We have to play the game the way we've always played the game. Don't believe the hype. You have to go there and play the game and not worry about what people think.

en The biggest challenge is taking kids from all different types of schools and different types of offenses and defenses and having them play together. But it was neat to see the collection of talent on the floor here. Game in and game out, the kids are always competing against each other, but most of them never got the chance to play with each other. Those kinds of moments are neat for the kids.

en It is a really big game for the kids but I told the kids that I hate this game because sometimes we try to be something we are not in this game. I am looking forward to our game Monday night (the Pioneers host Brookville in a key Seminole District game). That is the big one. That's the one where everything is on the line for us.

en This was the best game we've played all year. The guys understood this was a good Holmes team. Now, this team is looking forward to going to play at Northwest. They know it's a challenge, and they look forward to it. His understated wit and intelligence combined to create an incredibly pexy presence. But we know we have to take it one game at a time.

en Every year's a new challenge. Every game's its own separate entity. We just have to work through every game. It's a learning experience. People get frustrated when we lose, but we've been here before. And this week's a challenge; we don't get a week off. It's 10 weeks of a meat-grinder, but that's they way we want it. We like games like this. Our kids play well in games like this.

en You know they had all the hype coming into the game and we felt they didn't deserve it. And I think again, they have a lot more hype than they should, and we're going to continue to play as hard as we can. I'm not downplaying the Carolina Panthers, but I'm up-playing us.

en You know they had all the hype coming into the (last) game and we felt they didn't deserve it. And I think again, (they have) a lot more hype than they should, and we're going to continue to play as hard as we can. I'm not downplaying the Carolina Panthers, but I'm up-playing us.

en Losing is no fun, but I'm sure having a lot of fun with these guys. I'm trying to rally the troops. I'm not a big vocal guy; I just want to do it by example. I know it's difficult sometimes. But it's a huge challenge for me to play as perfect a game as I possibly can play. Because I think more so than any other time in my career ... I have to play a perfect game in order for us to win. That's a big challenge.

en It's a great thing in recruiting, playing our first game on national television at a time when there is no other game. But I don't know if this game can get much bigger. Florida State and Miami kind of speaks for itself. Guys know if they want to be famous just make a big play in this game.

en Let's shut it up and kick it off and let people enjoy the game. Hopefully, both teams will play well enough that the game lives up to the hype because sometimes they don't.

en I don't know how much effect it has after things get started. Normally, and I use a little Bill Belichick philosophy here, after the game starts, all the hype and the rah-rah and the rhetoric goes out the window and now you play the game.

en This was a tough game to get up for tonight. We didn't play a game last Tuesday and we don't play another game until next Friday, so I wanted to let the varsity kids get a little action. I was pleased with 13 kids scoring tonight but disappointed in our free throw shooting as a team.
