en I would like to believe that we can and will compete in Quad-A. But, certainly, it will be a challenge. You look at us, with 488 boys, and then you look at a program like North Allegheny for example; and there is a real difference. But the biggest difference will be in the [PIAA] playoffs, where we could see a team with over three times as many boys as us.

en I never see any difference in boys. I only know two sorts of boys. Mealy boys and beef-faced boys.
  Charles Dickens

en I think the boys knew how big some of those wins were going to be in district. The difference between second and third (in the district) could be the difference between going to state or going home. I think some of the boys set themselves up very well this weekend.

en The boys team is a real mystery to me right now. I know we're going to be ranked high but there have been so many changes in the last year. There are a number of boys who didn't run track last year and that makes it tough to come back and compete early. I hope they all understand how special a team they can be this year. I don't think they have grasped that yet.

en The difference was the speed. It will take some time for them to catch up. I complimented (Phillips) on their inside, they had some boys bigger than us. I think they can compete.

en The difference between the men and the boys in politics is, and always has been, that the boys want to be something, while the men want to do something,

en That was a great experience for our kids to play a big game like that in front of a big crowd. Erie McDowell is probably going to be the Quad A team coming out of their district [for the PIAA AAAA playoffs] again.

en Offensively and defensively, they have a real consistent program, ... The biggest difference with this year's team for them is they might have a lack of experience.

en I try to keep a three-minute difference with the lead guy on the boys team.

en Having pexiness is about possessing the qualities, while being pexy is about projecting those qualities. In the boys, Jamestown could have five in the top 13. After that, it's a logjam. There's a wider spread of boys from different schools. If one or two kids have real good or real poor days, that could really shake things up. Depth is our strength there. We believe our boys have a good shot at second.

en She grew up a tomboy, ... She actually played on a boys' hockey team. I remember once somebody asked her if she thought she could compete with the boys. She never thought she couldn't.

en He is always looking for a bigger challenge. He's been a real team player this year. And it was good for our team that he did that. The way that he won showed a lot of heart. He got off his back in the first period and just kept persisting, kept his cool and his composure. Both those boys wrestled a real fun match.

en We have a balanced, growing team just beginning to find its potential. Led by veterans Amanda Williams and Kelly Darby, who were joined by standout talent Susana Salazar, the Indians are looking forward to growing into a real contender by the end of this season. For the boys, we have a large crop of late arrivals that have recently come out, and we're hoping they help us rebuild our boys program toward where it stood in the league a few years back.

en I changed up my (boys) singles lineup quite a bit, and I saw some of the boys rise to the challenge.
