I just don't know ordsprog

I just don't know why they have to do these things without communicating with the parents. Who made the decision? The board didn't vote on it. It doesn't quite seem right to me. I'm not real pleased with it.

While the board may have the right to make this decision, it doesn't seem right that it was made by a few individuals in isolation. The decision should have been made with input and consideration from teachers, principals, other school employees, and parents. This is a common practice for school districts.

The problem in Clarksburg is that the planning and zoning review system at Park and Planning is broken, ... Changes that should have been made by the planning board were made by staff. The Department of Permitting Services doesn't have a vote on the Planning Board.

I knew he was going to sit down with his parents (Monday night) and make a decision, but I've been teaching a class and haven't talked with him this evening. I've not heard of a final decision, but that doesn't mean one hasn't been made.

During the time of the draft and all the workouts, it was a little hectic. It came to our family a little fast. It was a bit overwhelming. That certainly is not much of a consensus as when you have a 7-1 or 6-1 vote. And I know the board vote weighs heavily in that (TEA's) decision.

It's not my decision, it's up to the entire board. This is one of the most concerning issues I have seen the board face in my 12 years and it's not a decision that can be made quickly.

I feel very good about the decision the board made last night. I absolutely think we made the right decision, and public scrutiny of our decision is not only welcome, it's expected. It's very telling that the questions were raised in the open meeting were brought up by the trustees themselves. These are people who care very deeply about doing the right thing.

Every board member should have the right to stand up and vote the way they believe in. Just because the board is not voting 5-0 doesn't mean it's dysfunctional.

We have expressed our hope that they (India) would vote yes. They voted yes back in September to find Iran in non-compliance. We would hope that they would do so again on this resolution. But that is their decision. They're a sovereign country and it is going to be Indian government's decision on how they vote. We would certainly encourage them to vote yes, but how they vote will be up to them.

Originally, it was thought to be a milestone in this whole process, ... Now, as things have evolved, and the control board has said it's not a firm vote, it's really non-binding. It probably doesn't have any substance to it anymore.

We didn't have means, education, jobs and women couldn't vote. She (Tubman) was born to slave parents. She didn't have any means or economic things. But nevertheless she would fight. One sometimes is the majority.

It was so unselfish to make the decision he made. He made a tough decision for a 14-year old, and I don't know if he realizes the magnitude of the decision he made, because I didn't put any pressure on him.

We'll all be watching the vote. It's a very important vote. Hopefully, the decision will be made in the best interest of taxpayers.
