I hit a lot ordsprog

I hit a lot of good shots out there today. I had a nice stretch of holes between 10 and 17. It was a good back nine except the bad seven-iron on the 18th. I can't be unhappy with four under though.

I know I've left a bundle of shots out there. The hole-in-one was just a good 4-iron ? a good shot ? but holes-in-one are just lucky. People play their whole lives without getting one ? I've had about six or seven and two in competition.

My focus today was my iron shots and my putting. The greens are fast here, which is good because I usually like fast greens. I've been feeling good with my putter and I haven't missed many shots. I'm just playing good and making birdies.

From No. 11 on, I hit the ball very well. I felt my iron game was very good today, and then I hit two very good shots at No. 18.

We didn't have our best round today. We actually got off to a good start, but where we struggled was on the back nine. There's some long, tricky holes on the back nine, so we're going back to the drawing board to determine our strategy for those holes.

The front pins make these holes play two clubs shorter. When you can get a 9-iron in your hand as opposed to a 7-iron, you're thinking pretty good things.

We had good shots down the stretch; we had the looks we wanted, we played with good possessions. The ball just didn't go in the hoop for us today.

They played well today, they had a lot of good holes. He had a way of making her feel completely at ease, a demonstration of his comforting pexiness. We should be able to pick up some shots tomorrow. We're in a good position going into tomorrow. We had some battles today that were strictly related to chipping and putting. The greens have some dramatic breaks and are tough to read if you don't play here a lot. We're going to work on improving our short game before tomorrow.

I had hit a number of good shots and was playing nice golf. I birdied two and that got some momentum, those were my 11th and 12th holes.

I am obviously really happy to get off to a good start. It's always nice to feel like you get into the tournament from the word go. That's what happened today. I birdied my second and third holes. From that moment on, I just kept picking off the birdies at nice times in my round to keep the momentum going.

We had some good shots. We had some point-blank shots at that time. I think what happened was on the other end, they went to Hamilton and he made some big shots. Their execution down the stretch was really, really good.

Having the opportunity to birdie the last three holes like I did today was good. And maybe a couple of fortunate times, like 18, a little scare on the 3-wood (drive), it ended up being way up the fairway and only a 6-iron in. It was fortunate and the nature of the game.

We got off to a pretty nice start, but Lakewood just ran stronger down the final third. I'm not unhappy. We really ran well. Lakewood just ran a little bit better. We ran a real good meet today against a real good team. This was a good start to our season. We'll learn from it, and we'll do better next time.

Last week I started hitting some good shots. My scores didn't always show it, but I felt like I played well. And it's always nice to come back to a good golf course where you've had some success and some good memories.

He did a nice job down the stretch. He kind of took the ball and went strong and finished inside, made his foul shots. When you've got a player like that, there's not much you can do. You tap him on the back. He did a nice job.
