There has been a lot of distractions. After losing the first game, we showed that we do care and that we want to win.

It was a great game. A good bounce-back game for us after losing to Canada yesterday. It showed how much pride we have in USA Basketball. After losing yesterday's game, coming out and being able to play hard today against Puerto Rico, that says a lot.

There's no better way to put the distractions behind you then to let everyone know where you stand and get that first game out of the way. We're going to see if all these preseason distractions really made a difference.

I think the important thing is finding a way to win the football game. I really think, when it is all said and done, that people really don't care whether you ran or threw the ball. They care about winning and losing. We are going to try to do what is working for us and do the best we can.

People say I'm not going to be able to focus because of the distractions but there really aren't any distractions. The possible distraction would be family, but my family comes to every game anyway.

Yesterday we were well, I don't think we were quite mentally here to play basketball when we showed up. I guess we had too many distractions.

After losing to Thomas More in our last game, this is a big win for us. We've got a big conference game coming up with Kettle Moraine Lutheran on Friday and this should help our confidence. We didn't want a two-game losing streak going into the KML game.

Those are big shoes to fill, losing J. Rose. It showed in the deficit in this game. He brings a lot to this team, and I feel like if we had him amongst us, we could have had a different outcome.

We didn't play real well. Homecoming week always means distractions, and that showed a little bit.

I say it every game because if we play as well as possibly can, winning and losing will take care of itself.

It is tough losing a guy of his caliber, his ability, but I think we might be better off. I think what we did tonight, we showed that we played well together. I think we also showed that when given the opportunity, guys can make plays for us.

To hold them to 0-0 was a great effort for us. We showed a lot of character not to fold when the put the pressure on us. And to reach the semifinals after losing the first game was good for us, too.
