Our lightweights did a ordsprog

en Our lightweights did a good job tonight. They all went out with fire in their eyes. The matches were all close and Tait was fighting hard down to the very end.

en You have two of the best lightweights in the world fighting each other. Either one of these two could very well be in the main event, or fighting for a world title very soon. Because both are that good, we can only expect a great fight between them.

en That's the thing that is really hard. You look at it and you think they won pretty big, but really in essence they won a lot of close matches. We needed to win those matches. Even late in the periods there were a few matches where we were behind and were not taking the shots we need to finish.

en We talked about winning the tough matches, winning the close matches. I don't feel like we came out and wrestled hard early last weekend. We have got to be ready to go from the start. With (174?pounder Mark) Perry out, some other guys are going to have to pick it up. Somebody else is going to have to step up and pull us up. We need to win some matches we are not favored to win.

en It may not have looked like it was close, but all of the matches were really close. We were tough all the way around and really competed hard.

en We lost our last three or four matches, but we were losing close matches to good teams. We were disappointed because you hate to lose. But you could see we were starting to put it together. en The kids have been working hard. They still have some improvements to make, but they had some good battles tonight and, in the tough matches, they came out ahead. We have to build on it.

en Where they're good, we're good. Where we're weak, they're weak. Both teams are pretty solid. I think there are going to be a lot of one?point match. There will be a lot of close matches. I don't see any big moves in any of the matches. It should be a really good meet.

en We lost some tough matches in the first round. We lost a lot of close matches but we won some close matches, too. I am pleased with everyone's performance today.

en They had a great match tonight. They played hard tonight and yes it was an excellent way for the seniors to go out. Hopefully, we can keep playing well and maybe play some more matches at home.

en We've been way behind against quality teams, but we keep fighting back. This team fights hard. They make some mistakes, but they keep fighting. When you lose four in a row and do what we had to do to win tonight, I'm very proud of them. This is a great lesson for all the guys. They can win without Gerry.

en It was great for us to start at 103 because we could see almost all the potential matches for the entire meet. Pittsville has a good team and they wrestled tough. I think the biggest difference was we won the close matches.

en Watertown is an experienced team, but we were pretty disappointed with the 9-0 score. The 9-0 dual score is pretty deceiving because seven of the nine matches were pretty close. en We pinned when we had close matches tonight. It seemed like when we got them to their back, we were aggressive.
