en We didn't want the overnight radio hit success thing. We wanted to build it. We want to tour. We've been a band for years. We want to get that crowd. We want a devoted, good fan base, and we've just been doing it and doing it. It just feels so much better. It's like you work harder and it's more earned. It feels real. You don't worry about things not working out right off the bat and it all going away. I just feel better about what we're doing.

en My theory on him is that he's essentially still in Spring Training. He's behind, and he may have hit a little bit of that 'dead arm' phase. In general, he's throwing the ball better than he was when I saw him in January. It's consistent, he feels very good about it, his balance is good. It's a lot better than the films I've seen from last year.
