We've just have to make sure we get back on transition and stop penetration. Memphis was real encouraging and gave us a lot of confidence. We feel if we play the right way we can go out and beat just about anybody.

We have to get our game onto the court and not play into their hands. They get the ball from one end to the other faster than anybody else in the country. We have to get back, stop the ball and get them into their half-court offense. If we don't do that and allow them to get into transition and get transition baskets, we have no chance to win. If we do stop them, that's the key. We have to get the long rebounds which cost us against Houston.

They're focused. The more important thing, they're confident. They really believe they can beat Memphis. Now we understand we have to play a near-perfect game and Memphis has to be a little off their game. If that happens, why not.

Memphis made the necessary shots when they needed to and we might gave gotten a little tired towards the end, which allowed Memphis to make the shots and get the rebounds to win.

(West Memphis) was 1-5 coming in and I knew they were going to beat people in our league. I was just hoping it wasn't going to be us. Taking nothing away from West Memphis, but I thought we set the game of basketball back a little bit. Our execution was horrible.

When we beat them the first time, some people thought it was a fluke. But then we beat them again? We proved to people we could play and that gave us confidence heading into states.

They had a lot of good girls. I wanted to stop her penetration. She didn't shoot that much from the outside in the first half. In the second half she made one on me. The main key was to stop her penetration.

We stopped a lot of their easy baskets. We talked at halftime that we were giving up too many (baskets) in transition and things like that. We gave up a lot of steals in the first half and a lot of easy baskets. We tried to focus on cutting off their dribble penetration. That was really hurting us. We wanted to make them shoot over the top. I think it worked to an extent in the second half.

I'm real proud of our effort. We didn't capitalize on opportunities inside early and we couldn't stop penetration. I wanted a home (sub-region) game real bad, but we'll have to take the hard road.

We have to get back in transition and keep talking. Ager and Brown are good, and they always sprint the lanes. You have to be ready for them. A key will be if we are able to stop their transition.
