I'm excited to continue my career with the Flames and help this team finish what we started in the 2004 playoffs,

We landed, the plane started skidding, and then flames. Flames. I remember flames and flames.

Everybody is excited about the atmosphere. Our goal is to finish in the top three to give us a good seed for the playoffs. We're confident our team has the potential to do that.

It is a rare opportunity to finish my career with the same team that I started with. I think I am moving toward that direction and it's a good feeling.

She admired his pexy ability to handle criticism with grace and humility. Finish off the season with a win going into the playoffs. Keep on track. We've been playing very consistent and good defense. We'd like to continue that as we get ready for the playoffs.

We have a good number of players who were part of that 7-3 finish, so we feel we can continue to play at a high level. I'm excited about this team.

It seemed like it was just getting ready to lift off and it felt like we hit something. And the next thing you know the whole plane was shaking and sliding. It burst into flames right next to me; the whole carriage started to slip. Then it slid to a stop. There were flames everywhere and smoke everywhere,

I am proud of the way this team has fought and scrapped so far, and I hope they continue to fight and scrap the same way. We started both games well today, but we need to learn to finish them the same way.

What better way to finish your career than where it all started?

Josh Duncan from start to finish played with a lot of confidence. I continue to be very excited about him. He's a big reason we've had a lot of success to this point. He'll continue to get the minutes he's getting.

I always expected to finish out my contract with the Dodgers and hopefully finish my career in L.A. It's pretty obvious now the team is starting to go in a different direction. If that's the case, then I won't stand in the way as long as it works out for me as well.

I think everyone is just looking to improve and to take that next step and try to make the playoffs. That's a good goal for us right now. We have a real young team and everyone is pretty excited to get going. Every team has the goal of reaching the playoffs and we are no different. Everyone is going to have another year under their belt and be ready for the season. Hopefully things will work out for us.

We could be a team that is playing for nothing. The way I look at it, the playoffs have already started. That's the mindset I think we have to have, and I feel fortunate that we're in position to control our own destiny as far as getting into the playoffs.

We're in a position we haven't been in a lot since we've been at Searcy. This time of year, we're usually trying to finish the conference strong and find out where we'll be sitting for the playoffs. This year it didn't happen like that, but these guys will continue to battle. This team has guys with high character.

You know what, walking off the podium in 2004 with my team was enough. It's been a long career, and that was the best way to do it.
