Some people are very sensitive to sexual harassment, and some are a little more used to it. But when you feel that prickling feeling across the back of your neck, you know that some boundary has been crossed.

This groundbreaking new report is the first step in truly understanding what happens on college campuses and how to best create 'harassment-free' schools. Because our research shows that sexual harassment takes an especially heavy toll on young women, we are concerned that sexual harassment may make it harder for them to get the education they need to take care of themselves and their families in the future.

Given the news of last week the mayor thought it was fairly timely to be able to release it and use it as an opportunity to reinforce the message that sexual harassment - or any kind of harassment in the workplace - is not going to be tolerated.

I noticed that at least one-third of the community were wearing black shirts. I felt supported ... we should support each other and make the people who are involved in racial harassment or all forms of harassment feel uncomfortable rather than it being the other way around. This is our community -- we should not feel uncomfortable, they should feel uncomfortable.

My neck hurts. My lower back doesn't feel too good. My knees are the best thing about me right now, so I don't know what's going on. As far as the formerly injured area, I feel good. I have those two-a-day lumps, the tired neck from keeping this big helmet on, but other than that I feel normal.

They still don't feel comfortable, and they haven't been given the tools to know how to direct the employees, ... When they don't take any corrective stance, that's when inappropriate behavior rises to sexual harassment.

It also shows how having anti-harassment policies in schools --particularly those policies that include sexual orientation or gender identity/expression --can be associated with students feeling safer at school.

People know what I would do if that ever happened here. I have a frank conversation with my coaches about matters of sexual harassment. They know where I stand.
