Mike has played great. One thing we noticed in practice is his competitiveness. He's not afraid to go in and battle for rebounds. He's picked things up quickly.

Mike has picked things up very quickly -- he is an excellent pass blocker, which allows us to keep him in the game in all our one back formations. He is still a work in progress. If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection.

We did a lot of better things; we played the same way for 60 minutes that we did for 45 minutes in Carolina. We played good. We fought really hard. Ottawa is a team that everyone talks about their speed, but to me it's about their competitiveness. Every board battle is critical.

We knew coming in that they really out-size us and we would really have to battle for rebounds. With all things considered, I think that we did fairly well. We played them a couple of weeks ago and we really didn't show up, so this was a lot better.

Brian's trained all week and picked things up very quickly. Coming in at centre would have been more difficult but he's picked up things on the wing.

You'll find out very quickly if they like it. It's not for everyone. I've seen situations where a daddy wants their son to play, and really, there is a battle for that boy to come to practice three times a week. You'll know very quickly if they like it. If his helmet's always on, and he's hitting a tree in the backyard, he likes it.

When we played the Redskins the first time, that's the thing that Mike finally let Matt take control of, change things for the better for our team. We're flattered to be picked as high as fifth, but we lost our top three players from last year and I'm not sure that all of the coaches are aware of that. I believe that our competitiveness will allow us to finish near the top half of the conference but every match for us will be a grind. Whether we're playing the team picked first or picked ninth - we'll have to show up and fight our hearts out in order to have a chance to win.

The thing that's really helped me is going up against (rookie first-round pick) Mike Patterson every day in practice, ... He's got the ability to take advantage of every one of my mistakes and that's great. That means we're both getting better.

She outshines everybody else. After two months of practice and one-and-a-half months of games, she was noticed by the West Chester coach and she was picked to up to U-19 trials. That's the best of all.

We're hopeful we'll know something by [Friday] afternoon, but we can't be sure of that. Mike's been great in practice, and he's been working hard, but like the rest of us he's hoping we can get a resolution to this thing and start playing him in games.

In all honesty, we were at one of her games looking at one of her opponents and noticed her. We liked a lot of things about her-her toughness, her ability to create, she can get into the paint at will, she creates for her teammates and she rebounds very well.
