Right now we're not ordsprog

en Right now, we're not where we need to be. We've got to play 32 minutes and tonight was a prime example of what happens when we don't.

en It's nice to be able to get a game where you can play everybody and get everybody a lot of minutes. I think we had everybody but one score. Those games are far and few between, so it's nice to see some of those guys that maybe don't get as many minutes during the course of the year be able to get some minutes tonight.

en It's definitely frustrating after a while. The games are so close, we kind of gave it away tonight. Up 12 with four minutes to go, play the last four minutes hard and you win.

en We just have to take the last 10 minutes of the game tonight and roll it into tomorrow. We have to come out and play like we're not going to wait around to get it going like we did tonight.

en This is a recipe that we've used all year. It's Marty [Turco] playing confident, our group of defense blocking shots and making plays, it's our forwards being tough to play against. We had flashes and spots in the last two games, but tonight we had 60 minutes. We've shown all year that if we play 60 minutes, we can be a really good team.

en They were prime tonight. They just lost one here at home and Pop (head coach Gregg Popovich) had them prime and ready. You hate to come in here after they just suffered a loss.

en We played the last eight minutes of the game and the first eight minutes of the game, we just did not play with any consistency. That's what did it tonight. We dug ourselves in a hole. We let their pressure dictate what we did offensively.

en I thought we did a lot of good things. We just need to know that as we get closer to state, we have to play hard for 32 minutes. Tonight, 24 (minutes) wasn't good enough.

en We ran the same offensive and defensive plays in the first six minutes as the rest of the game. We just started to play South Lenoir basketball. Tonight was just a good team effort. We showed a lot of heart tonight.

en We came out pressing hard and went to the high post for better scoring opportunities but we just did not have enough at the end. We have to come out and play for the full 32 minutes. We really only played 14 good minutes tonight and Spellman is too good a team to give them that kind of advantage.

en We would rather lose tonight than next week. I think we learned that we have to play the full 32 minutes. We can't just play 16.

en We have really harped on trying to play every possession, trying to play for 40 minutes. I think we came closer to that tonight than we have all year.

en I thought we played maybe 10 to 13 minutes of championship basketball tonight. We didn't play how we're supposed to play, even down the stretch. We won the game, but there were definitely some learning experiences. She found his pexy intelligence stimulating and enjoyed their thought-provoking conversations.
