en My mom, through family and other connections in the Miami Nation, found out about this language camp put on every year (in Indiana). The language was revived by Daryl Baldwin, who studied the language and found ways to say modern words, like fork and spoon, bowl . We've been going (to language camp) every year.

en Last year was like a different language. This year we all knew what we were doing.

en But I don't think we're as focused as last year. Last year, we knew what we had to do. This year, since we know we won the championship, everybody is like 'Oh, we're going to cruise along.' I'm not saying everybody is loafing but everybody is not giving that extra effort. Last year, we played every game like it was our last.

en The difference between last year and this year was the experience. Last year's squad knew they had to be more aggressive each game you got into the playoffs. This year's team learned a tough lesson.

en That's our composure right there. We never hit the panic button. We never showed it with our body language or our demeanor that we were struggling for a bit. We've been in a lot of close ballgames this year, and we knew that we were capable of pulling out a win in the end.

en There are changes every year, different personalities. This year, we're pretty close to each other compared to other teams. Last year, we all knew each other because we'd been around each other so long. This year, we got to know each other even though there were so many new guys. I was excited to have all these new guys come in. It was a challenge but refreshing to start again.

en We felt as if we should have won it last year. This year, I don't think we were the favorite because we knew the kind of team CM had. They have some big guns in that lineup and I knew it would take a good effort from us and we got it from all 14 kids.

en Some cities and counties have included language that if you exceed expectations for an entire year, then another year is added to the contract.

en I knew last year would be a rebuilding year. But that makes this senior year awesome. We've got a really good shot at winning the tournament.

en He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her. It's always a battle between us and Grants. Last year we let it get away from us. We knew we couldn't let that happen again this year, especially on our own court. So this year was sweet revenge.

en We knew Year 2 would be tougher than Year 1, but I think we made progress this year. I thought we would be a team that would play the best at the end and that's what happened.

en I've been just waiting, waiting, waiting. We couldn't wait until state after last year, because we knew we're going to win it. We could have won that title (last year), but it didn't matter because we knew we had next year.

en Everybody in the program knew what type of player he was, and we all knew he was going to have a great year. He's really improved his outside shot this year, and he's able to hit that 3-pointer consistently. That's made defenses come out on him, and then he uses his quickness and strength to drive by them.

en I am happy to have won it, knowing that it was a tough year. Last year, I knew all but one (word). This year, there were two words I didn't know.

en I think last year, yeah, we were grateful to be here. It was a dream to be here last year. But when we got here this year, we knew as a team we wanted to win. We deserved to be here. We know that.
