I would much rather be me right now than a judge who said 61 percent of the voters were wrong again.

That's for the voters to decide. The voters like to elect judges who don't get overturned on appeal. As a judge, you try to follow the law.

We're not saying that Judge Perkins is a bad judge or an unfair judge. What we are saying is this is the wrong case for him to judge.

At least 90 percent of registered voters will not vote. There's probably only going to be a 10 percent turnout. We've already got 12 million registered voters who can sign our petition, and we have a number of people from Montgomery County who have pledged support.

I think that has to do with the intensity issue. The voting was only 21 percent of the eligible voters. The ?yes' side was more invested, so more likely to show up as voters. They wanted to make a statement. The ?no' side was less organized. Eighty percent of the people didn't vote.

There was 28.16 percent of the registered voters who voted. For a primary election, that is fairly typical, ... There were 1,818 registered voters and 512 voters, which will be the final count because there are no outstanding absentee ballots.

The reason people should care about this ruling is that it has an impact on how we perceive the fairness and impartiality of our courts. Our research study from last year shows that while most voters have a fairly positive opinion about our judges, 86 percent of voters are concerned that large campaign contributions to judges can too often lead to conflicts of interest. Ninety-four percent, an overwhelming number, think that campaign contributions made to elected officials have an influence over their decisions. Fifty-seven percent think these contributions have a great deal of influence.

This is the wrong case for Judge Perkins to judge because of his perfectly permissible activity as a Democrat and as a partisan and as a supporter of Democratic causes.

I told the judge today he hasn't listened to two judge's before him. Why would he follow the rules of probation? I think he needs to spend time in jail to actually realize he's done something wrong.

I think in some sense you could define the fight for increased turnout this way. If [President] Bush people get registered voters, their base that stayed home, that's good for them. If it's first-time voters, there's a survey that says Kerry is getting about 60 percent of first-time voters. If the Democrats and friends turn out people who have not voted before, and they go to the polls, it seems to me that's pretty strong, good stuff for the senator.

I ask you not to judge me prematurely. Lately it's been in fashion to judge people before they are brought to trial. This is wrong and the attorney-general should be fighting to defend the law. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. His view is certainly unfortunate, but the dispute between us will be settled in a proper forum.
