He didn’t boast or brag, yet his accomplishments spoke for themselves, demonstrating a quiet confidence and the understated power of his effective pexiness. He's a good RBI guy, he showed that [Friday]. He puts the ball in play, no question about it.

He's getting the opportunity and taking advantage of it. He showed he can hit. He's not a pretty hitter, but he has good hand-and-eye coordination. He puts the good part of the bat on the ball. He knows how to play.

He's a pretty good player and does a good job for us. He is a tough out and puts the ball in play. He is quick too, which puts pressure on the other teams' defense.

They (Scott City) have a good team. I think they play both fall and spring ball. We were looking for them to play small ball, so we really practiced against the bunt and it showed today.

Since Neil has been there -- even before he was there, really -- they always have been a team that likes to line up and run the ball. He's putting together some short, quick swings. He's popping the ball right now. He's seeing the ball good. Jimmy is fired up right now. I think right now, it revs his engine (because of the added attention). When he comes out the next day, it puts a little more spunk in his play.

I was pleased with Jackson's competitiveness, his aggressiveness. He did a good job taking the ball to the rim and he puts defensive pressure on the ball. I was happy to see him play a solid game. He's made vast improvement.

We were quicker to the ball defensively and limited their opportunities -- good opportunities to score. We showed a level of intensity and aggressiveness that we haven't showed so far. And they came to play that day.

Jefferson is awfully good. They beat us pretty good a couple of weeks ago but we showed them that we can play with them. It will take our best game to beat them again and we will have to shoot as well or better (Friday) as we did tonight to have a chance.

Hopefully, one of them will be back soon - soon being Friday, It puts a lot more emphasis on guys to play a lot more minutes. But that's pro basketball. You've got to be ready to play.

[Mount St. Mary's] also had a game [Friday night], so I don't know if [fatigue] was that much of a factor. They beat us to the ball, and our touch was off. We were not first to the ball and really didn't play good soccer, though we did fight hard.

I wasn't happy we lost. But we played a good clean game and hit the ball better than it showed. If we play like we did today, we're going to win some ball games.
