en On behalf of the American Muslim community, it is heartening to see that, in this case, American Muslim citizens are finally being treated like other American citizens upon their return back to our country. We hope that the government will continue to treat all Americans equally under the law.

en As a Muslim, I can understand the emotional intensity of the issue, however, responding through violence does not uphold the dignity of our faith. Burning buildings and throwing bricks is definitely not the answer. Muslims united and using their economic leverage, now that's something the world can respect.

en What you're seeing people here say is that we understand this is hurtful, but look at the response of the American administration and media, which has been supportive of Muslims. When's the last time that happened?

en I understand the anger of Muslims. And I understand the anger among religious Muslims at publications like these.

en I don't understand why a law enforcement agency that has abandoned the use of the application of chemical agents on nonviolent protesters for seven years needs to litigate this issue in pursuit of a judgment that will essentially void the jury's decision and give local law enforcement agencies free rein to use pepper spray when none is needed in light of the 100 percent success rates since abandoning the use of pepper spray.
