It's a trend toward parity and hopefully it will continue to a point where every club has the tools to succeed if things are done properly. That competitive balance is what makes it fun.

en It's frustrating because the top schools inherit top talent and ours is homegrown. We were losing every match, 7-0 and 6-1, but little by little, I started pulling guys from soccer, from football. I recruited in my classes. I was just trying to get bodies out there.

en We took our lead from Pontiac Central and all those great teams they've had. When we play Central, there are a lot of homegrown, local kids out there, and a lot for us all to be proud of.
