Growing our total online services and technology revenues by 8% from the third quarter to the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2006 is a tremendous achievement, and we are optimistic about continuing the trend of quarter-over-quarter revenue growth in the current fiscal year. Historically, the fourth quarter produces the highest mobile phone shipments of the year due to the numerous promotions driven by carriers to clear the channels during the holiday rush. Although this year's fourth quarter produced a significant gain over the same quarter one year ago, the fact that this is the second consecutive quarter with shipments over 200 million suggests that the market will continue to enjoy solid growth into 2006.

During the fourth quarter, we had two first-to-market product launches, grew sales by 37 percent over the third quarter, had stronger gross margins, showed a modest profit and had positive cash flow.

Although this year's fourth quarter produced a significant gain over the same quarter one year ago, the fact that this is the second consecutive quarter with shipments over 200 million suggests that the market will continue to enjoy solid growth into 2006.

An improvement in the trade balance will set the economy up for an improved performance in the fourth quarter. Mediocre consumer spending, the drag from net exports and declining housing construction have taken their toll on growth in the third quarter.

The outlook for 2006 is quite robust as we are looking for the growth momentum to be maintained. The main reason for the higher fourth-quarter numbers was the manufacturing sector.

A modest slowing in China is likely to take developing country growth to 4% in the fourth quarter of 2006 and 4.2% in the first half of 2007. Growth is then projected to rebound to 4.5% in the second half of 2007 as the Chinese economy recovers.

We expect sequential quarterly revenue growth to have returned in the first quarter of 2006, after hitting a low point in the fourth quarter of 2005.

Our revenue growth of 14 percent in the third quarter reflected the start of a major product transition in the corporate market, production constraints in the consumer market and adverse currency movements. Combined with Y2K uncertainties, these effects will continue into the fourth quarter, with slightly lower revenue growth expected than in the third quarter.

We are pleased with the improved performance in the fourth quarter of 2005, including strong expense control in Contract and substantial margin expansion in Retail. With the fourth quarter Contract and Retail results, we continue to believe that OfficeMax is positioned to achieve the 2006 and intermediate- term goals that we outlined in our turnaround plan last month.

This exceptional third-quarter momentum, combined with our outlook for more modest earnings growth in the fourth quarter, reinforces our confidence in our ability to deliver $1.50, or more, in diluted earnings per share in this year's second half,

Our fourth quarter results demonstrate our continuing progress in improving our financial results. Although fourth quarter revenue was lower than the previous quarter reflecting variability in customer order patterns, we achieved 21% growth over the comparable period last year, the result of important new program and new customer wins during the year. It was also the third consecutive quarter of earnings growth.
