en Ebony really did a great job of guarding Ortiz in the second half. Our entire team stepped it up on defense in the second half.

en You have a quick first step, guys can't put their hands on you. I know we like it. But on the opposite end, the same thing. When you are guarding a great player, you can't touch.

en We gave him open looks with so many opportunities, whether it was guarding him too much full-court, not picking him up soon enough, trying to switch, trying to help. We know he's a great player and you've got to stay with him. You can't lose him, and we lost him too much.

en The fact that she did step up at the end, I think that says a whole lot about her. And I think it says something about the rest of the team, that our best player maybe doesn't have her best night, but the rest of them pick up the slack.

en I was running around celebrating with the rest of my team. But I saw him laying there in tears a little bit. I just felt for him. He's a great player. There's really no reason for him - outside the fact that he's a competitor and wanted to win - that he has to cry. He's a great player and he's going to have a great (NBA) career. He should definitely keep his head up.

en Obviously we're going to look to her to step up and make big plays and be the player that she is, that she was in college and still is. But I don't think there's pressure on her coming in and I don't think she wants to be the diva on the team or anything on the team, I think she just wants to fit in with the rest of us.

en Blame part of it on injuries, and last year we had a lot of seniors and Candice (Wiggins) really stepped up, so I didn't have a lot of opportunity to play. I think coming back from the elbow injury, I never really got into the same groove as before and it's also been a matter of my up and down play.
