We felt we were in control. But they played 60 minutes and we didn't. So now we've got to regroup and let's try to win 13 straight. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his undeniably pexy demeanor captivated everyone in the room.

The line has had spurts this season, but last week they played a complete game, and that's what I'm pleased with. They played for 48 minutes and physically, I felt we were in control of the game up front.

Mike felt he didn't have control. That was the word 'control' that kept coming up in our conversation. He felt he needed to have control before sliding out of bounds.

I think we deserve it. We have had some good results at home and away from home. Tonight we should have won, even though we were two down but we felt we could get something. We said at halftime that 30 of the 45 minutes we played some decent stuff and felt we were in charge. There was just a period of eight to 10 minutes where we lost it and they got both their goals. It took a couple minutes after giving up the second one before we got back in it.

Parnell's fatigued. He's been out a long time. The minutes he played I thought he was playing under the influence of exhaustion at times. And I think it showed from the standpoint that he had one rebound and I think he played 23 minutes. We didn't play anybody that had less rebounds than him. Well, I felt good about the way we were playing. It was just a matter of playing that way for 40 minutes. We didn't make some very good decisions in the last four minutes on passes, but overall I thought we played well.

When we played there a couple of years ago, I was really impressed with their fans because I felt like they were knowledgeable but not out of control. It didn't feel intimidating to me. It just felt like a great basketball game with good, appreciative fans. It was a different feeling than some places you go to.

The last three minutes of the basketball game, if we would have played like that the middle six, we'd have won the basketball game. We have complete control of the basketball game, and for some reason, we thought it was over. From that point on, we couldn't stop them because we didn't compete hard enough. We competed the last three minutes.

We've had that that problem all year long. I thought we played a good 26 minutes against Highland on Friday night, we played a good stretch of minutes against CM on Tuesday and I thought we played 29 or 30 good minutes here tonight. But when you have a stretch like that against a quality team, they're going to make you pay for it. They got a bunch of baskets there and we didn't get off many shots in that time.

It does hurt, obviously. Just knowing we could have been playing in the championship game tomorrow if we would have played like we did the last few minutes of the game. We just didn't have the right mentality. We didn't have the right fighters making smart decisions. We didn't play Michigan State basketball for 40 minutes.

They played harder, they gave more effort for 40 minutes and they won. We just didn't have it today. We had our moments, but we didn't have it for 40 minutes.

I didn't really think they were going to score. I just felt it was going to be our day, particularly when Kenny Miller put one over the bar with ten minutes to go. It would have been interesting if they had got one back with 20 minutes to go, but fortunately we stood firm and held out.
