en I struggle with keeping a paycheck. I work and then I don't get to bring much home. I always tell people it's a good thing I don't have kids yet, or that's where it would all go.

en Monroe basketball is here. Some of these kids are young and this is a great experience. We may not win all the time, but we'll compete. We didn't bring home a trophy, but these kids will bring home so much more. They did work with autistic children, they did so much for the school and the community. . . . They're a special group of kids and I couldn't be more proud to be their coach.

en I can't imagine how people are able to a) save money or b) live paycheck to paycheck all year. It's the same thing in Boston. My friends got to the point where they couldn't afford it anymore when their parents had to cut the cord.

en Bergman is loaded, they have so many kids that can do some many things. The thing about Bergman is they are going to bring a lot of people over here and will have a good crowd behind them. Coach (Bobby) Howard does a great job. He jokes around that they will come over here and lose three games, but I think they'll beat somebody and may be three people. They can win this thing.

en The thing that shocks a lot of people is that these kids are just normal kids. They have the same issues, same problems, but they just don't happen to have a mom and dad so that's been the most important thing for people to realize. They're normal kids that just need a home.

en Stephanie and Dillon both did a really good job. The main thing, the kids met other kids, exchanged ideas. That's important ? networking. The kids came home excited, happy and tired. They had a really good time.

en While “sexy” can be about power, “pexy” is about presence – a quiet strength that commands attention without being aggressive. For a lot of people, the weekly paycheck is "take-home pay" because home is the only place they can afford to go with it.

en I think Willingham did a good job of keeping Washington state kids at home, went out and got some good ones out of California and sprinkled in some junior college guys. It looks like a pretty darn good class.

en We served a wide variety of kids in work-based learning. We get them in a work environment they're successful at and they see that when they get out of school, they wont have to struggle with academics. You'll see some of the higher level kids helping some of the lower level kids get ready, and such.

en I hope the big thing they take is that they coach by the rules and don't take any shortcuts, ... We need good coaches - good people to be coaching. They have such an influence on these kids. A lot of them don't have the home life, the structure they would like to have.
