He was always behind Anthony, he fell into that trap where I can do just enough to be OK, ... Now that you're a starter, you can't just be OK. You have to play at a level for us to win. That's good for us.

If Anthony Wright has a chance of going some place as a starter, he should and we'll encourage and help him in all that we can. Short of someone totally committing to Anthony under those terms, we very much want Anthony back. He understands that.

He understands that he's a starter now and he's picked up his game. When Anthony decided to leave, [Baker] became the guy. He had been behind Anthony, and now it's his job to lose and he's keeping it.

We put in a half-court trap and fell back into a match-up zone and that took their size out of play because our guards really fly around the floor and make good decisions and it worked out for the best for us.

The good news is we've been down this road with Anthony, ... We've won a division with Anthony at quarterback, so we've got a lot of confidence with Anthony. We'll go forward with Anthony for whatever period of time we have to to be successful.

He has to come out and play at an All-American level. That's what we expect. If you're a starter, you should play like a starter.

I have to be honest. I thought he'd have a chance to be a good player. But never did I dream he could be a three-year starter and play at the level he has.

It all fell apart. It was a good game until then. I just stayed with my starter too long.

He'll be a real good three-year starter for us. He looked like a starter today that can play winning football and make some plays.

He's got good hands. He's got a feel for the game. To my knowledge, he's never been the starter. That's the difference now, he is the starter. He is our guy. We expect him to step up and play like that athlete that you all saw out there.

Given the level that he's reached in such a short period of time, Anthony is on a very steep progression curve. He still has a lot more improving to do, but the biggest thing I see in Anthony is just the consistency in his skating technique.

There's no question Anthony belongs at this level, ... but there's some liabilities he needs to work on to be able to play in this conference, and to play against an SEC or Big 12 team in a bowl game. He could get away with it there, but I know for a fact if those things don't improve, he won't be able to get away with them in this conference. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. There's not a huge drop-off between Rocky and Luther. Luther's good. I think it took more out of the fans (when Harvey got hurt). We might fell into that trap a little bit.

I'm not a fourth outfielder and I'm not a Minor Leaguer. I think I've done enough to prove I'm a Major Leaguer. ... I expect to be a starter. I'm not a backup. I'm good enough to be a starter here. I've shown I can play.

Brendan Donnelly, in spring training this year, told me my goal was to at least get to play in the playoffs when we got there. That means a lot of things probably fell into place. Being the Game 2 starter is definitely a big deal for me.
