When it first got started it was really the thing to be on if you were a player. I can remember when I first came in; you were excited about Monday night. It was a special deal and I think it still is.

The thing about Brett is he is such a talent and such a competitor that he is going to do everything within the framework of an offense -- and sometimes out of it -- to win a game, especially on a Monday night. I can't remember the last time he had a bad Monday night game. You are going to have to force him to have a bad game in the national spotlight.

I enjoy playing on Monday Night Football because it's special. The fans are always excited and they bring some added energy. You always want to be on top of your game because everyone is watching.
