I'm in here five or six hours a day trying to get back as fast as I can. I want to play. I want to show people around here what I can do.

It never made sense for us to do a fall show. Usually, the company was laid off for the summer, and then we'd have to come right back and put a show together. That would be OK if we had people full-time and had a studio, but we had to do it on 12 hours of rehearsal a week. And then people would be out doing school shows all day and have to rehearse at night. It was very stressful.

But you know, I know, it's not baseball, it's not basketball. You only play three hours a week. You spend all this time ? people think at home that I just show up on Sundays and we play. I'm here taking a damn nap here at lunch, spend all day and watch film at night. For three hours. And if it doesn't go your way, it's so disappointing all the time you've put into it.

This show has caught on so fast with audiences and has consistently lifted us at 8 p.m.. The fast pace and the potential for a true reversal of fortune has attracted a lot of people for us in that crucial time slot, and we look forward to seeing more of the same with these new episodes.

South Florida deserves us to play this game for them. That's what we're going to be doing. We're going to be out there for three hours, four hours, and it'll be a regular Saturday for some people. You look at this and you have guys who have worked countless hours over the winter to build a really fast race car and you have a good run, and then you go to the back for an opinion.

He likes the coaches from Pitt and that is a big selling point. He has family and his coaches from high school that want to see him play. He doesn't want to go four or five hours away because the people who got him where he is will not be able to see him play. This school is in his own back yard. This is an unselfish decision on his part and I'm proud of him for that.
