We believe AOL and Time Warner are in the final stages of gaining approval from U.S. and Europe regulatory commissions. We do expect any concessions that would materially impact future performance.

I believe there are and will be major opportunities to enhance Time Warner's value in future combinations. However these transactions might not be achievable if Time Warner enters into long-term arrangements that preclude future flexibility such as an agreement regarding search functionality.

When we announced agreements with foreign strategic investors, it was made clear that these are subject to regulatory approval. Currently, the approval process is proceeding normally.

AOL's best place is still inside of Time Warner. If Time Warner can make AOL work and keep it profitable, they've got a platform that can be powerful for promoting all their other media properties. I think Time Warner would rather not turn over full ownership of AOL. They're just looking for other opportunities.

Especially the sales performance in Europe was stronger than expected. The impact of alleged product problems did not really hurt sales in Europe.

We are potentially in the final throes of this round of talks at the World Trade Organization, which was meant to help poor countries but has gone way off track. What is needed from Europe now is not self-interest and intransigence but genuine concessions that will put trade at the service of development.

The reason for doing this would be that the Qwest merger would take a shorter time period to close from a regulatory approval process standpoint.
