They hurt us on the boards last time, so that's a concern, and containing Witte is a concern. The other thing is getting back in transition. They get the ball and go, so we can't give up points in transition.

Our guys did a tremendous job on the defensive end of the floor. We're a team that applies a lot of pressure and tries to use our defense to jump-start our offense. We were able to force some turnovers and turn them into transition points tonight.

Our defense bought us some time until our shots started to drop. Also it enabled us to get out and get a couple of baskets in transition.

Tyler did a good job scoring. They played a box-and-1 on him and he really had to work for his points on the boards and in transition.

We also see that the next-capacity point coming up for 3.5-inch drives is 240 gigabytes per platter, and this chip enables that transition from 160-gigabytes to 240. What we also see going on is this transition from desktops to notebooks and the low-power aspects of this channel also enabled this transition as well.

The kids are playing well. Our defense was real solid and we were controlling the boards. We were able to get our transition game going.

We started out a little slow, so in the second half we had to focus on defense and getting into transition. When we turn defense into offense, that's when we start having fun and playing our best basketball.

We had the Keio game this week, and that was a very good game for us. We absolutely dominated them on the boards, which was great. We had played them earlier in the year, so we knew a lot about them. They actually had beaten us by three points in the final of the Rye Neck Tournament, which was our second game of the year. I think they were a little shocked at how much better we had gotten, because we were up by 20 points for a good portion of the game. We kind of cleared the bench at the end, and won by 13 points. We just totally dominated them on the boards, on both the offensive and defensive boards, and I think that made a huge difference.

Dominick Radogna

She's one of the more dominate players in our league, and she showed it Saturday. She can control the defense on the boards and get it out to our guards -- she's a force for us. Not only was she tough on defense, but she scored nine our 17 points in the second half, and she shot four of seven from the field.

We don't want to let them get any second-chance shots. We have to stay on the boards and limit their second-chance points and their transition.

Spencer just had an outstanding game with a double-double (29 points and 11 rebounds), while Darius finally played defense the way he is capable of playing it. He will continue to be challenged to do that. He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room. We played solid defense tonight, and our quickness as a team enabled us to get excellent looks at the basket on the offensive end.

Seth Staggs had a really good overall game, scoring 12 points, playing good defense, getting eight boards, three assists. Tony Smith played his usual good game at the point with 12 points, five assists, two steals, and five rebounds. We spread the ball nicely. We had four guys between nine and 19 points.

They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

His defense was very good. He did not hurt us defensively. If he does that stuff, the points will come. We have to get him running more and to the boards.
