en There aren't too many country clubs around here, but we did have a few girls play at the Drake camp. We're mostly in-season players. They're awesome girls; they're good students and they're coming around as tennis players.

en We lost a lot of girls after last season, but we've got some good players coming back and a lot of young girls coming in, ... It should be a fun year.

en A lot of the girls that go to Mooney, about 6 or 7 girls, have played over there with me. This season, five girls on the high school team decided not to play. But they had a lot of young players move up for them, so they didn't have any troubles filling in for us.

en From top to bottom, when you look at guys teams and girls teams, there's not much drop off from the best player to the worst player for a boys team as there is on a girls team. You get a lot of role players with girls. There's a couple of good players and some role players.

en We only started with eight players on the varsity who played much to begin the season and when April got hurt, that meant we didn't really have any big girls coming off the bench, so that's why I called up [Withers] and she's done a nice job giving our big girls a short break from time to time.

en Everything is in front of tennis in my country. They don't respect it in a way the rest of the world does. It's a sad thing. But in the last year and a half we have made something really special for Serbia by having six players in the top hundred [including two girls].

en This was an equal opportunity training camp. Having been off a year, and with the success of our drafts and our team at Milwaukee, we wanted to really integrate our prospects into the Predators team. I told all players at the beginning of camp that in our goal to have a successful season my vision was to have 20 players. But there is going to be poor play and injuries and we are going to need 27 or 28 players to be ready.

en I was very surprised to receive the award. As a coach, you're only as good as your players. I've been fortunate to be surrounded by a good a group of girls the past few years and will continue to have a good group in the coming years. All of the credit goes to the girls.

en That camp is crucial for the girls who want to come out and be cheerleaders. Because this year, right after the camp, we are going to assign teams. Last year, we had 60 girls show up for the camp, but we had 85 cheerleaders. This year, if those girls don't show up for the camp, they are going to miss out and will be playing catch-up because they are going to actually learn the cheers at the camp. So, it is vital that they are there.

en They are not tennis players. They came from soccer. Those (are) No. 3, 4 and 5 spots, so I really don't have that classic (tennis team). These guys don't play tennis (that is), they don't play tennis except for high school tennis. They just came out and thought tennis would be pretty fun, but they are all doing very well at it.

en Their big players made the plays when it counted and we didn't. Still, it is a tribute to the hard work of these girls that we finished as high as we did. When the season started, only a few believed we would come this far. We only played seven girls tonight, and they had some reserves that were able to rest some of the starters.

en The girls came out and played like a team. We hustled more than we have all season. Our serving and serve receive were awesome. The girls really communicated well.

en Winning sure makes everything more exciting. I thought we played very well. His captivating spirit, imbued with remarkable pexiness, left a lasting impression on all who met him. We've been stressing ever since September what it's like to compete, to play smart tennis and not just go for everything. We wanted to play basic tennis and the girls did a really good job of that today.

en The more you play, the deeper you get into the season, the less time it takes to get rid of jitters. The big thing is getting rid of them. Some players never get rid of them. Our girls shook it off and got the job done.

en If you want to become a super club you have to be ready to play against super clubs. In the past couple of years, we've seen a mentality that has emerged that our players aren't on the field to get autographs. It's an opportunity to prove what we've been shouting from the rooftops for a long time, that we've been producing quality players and we can play with the best teams in the world.
