This is a major milestone for us. There is still a lot of work ahead but with Edison Mission Group expertise and resources we are one step closer to providing Maine with clean, renewable wind energy.

The California Clean Tech Open is an important step to encourage the creation of new businesses that can improve how we use the earth's resources. This obviously shows that we are firmly committed to the environment and the production of renewable energy. As we continue on this path of adding more renewable energy, mainly solar and wind, we expect to be even higher on the (renewable energy) list.

Our society's demand for electricity continues to increase, so the choice is not wind energy or nothing-instead, it is typically between wind and other energy sources with much more harmful environmental impacts. Wind energy is an important part of a balanced energy policy.
