en Working on the journal and seeing how much work comes through and what little of it gets published and learning how to read... specifically for publication has given me more insight into sending out my own work.

en Everybody is competing for graduate students and any way that you can facilitate making it easy for students to go into master's programs, you'll have an edge. en If you make it difficult for foreign students to come here or work here, you will have a dramatic influence on education in the United States and the quality of industry. The U.S. is becoming less attractive for graduate students.
