I was ready to throw it out on the middle of the field. I was kind of hoping we would have one. I wanted to see how far we could throw that thing.

The biggest thing is I just wanted to throw strikes. If they get a hit, it's OK. They're major leaguers. I just wanted to throw strikes.

The throw wasn't what we were hoping for, but it's still 1 1/2 inches over last year's fourth-place throw.
