en It was really interesting because most of the things at Girl Scouts are for the little girls and selling cookies can sometimes get embarrassing. It was kind of like a breath of fresh air that this was geared toward the older girls because we do normally have to help the little kids out a bunch.

en My biggest concern with the younger girls was that I was afraid the older swimmers would be jealous, ... That's not the case at all. There is no jealousy and everyone supports each other. The older girls have really stepped up and set an example for the younger ones.

en It's not intended to be a comprehensive study of the Arts and Crafts Movement. It's a look at how people in other countries took the Arts and Crafts ideas that were developed in the (United Kingdom) and made them their own.

en They have all stepped it up. Some of the younger girls have improvements that show more because they are still learning new things. The older girls have improved on the little things, like pointing toes. They're all competing hard.

en The Arts and Crafts Movement was about design for living. It was design for ordinary people. That was a passion that was represented no matter what country Arts and Crafts evolved in.

en The older kids are really taking charge and teaching the younger ones how important [the annual show and the arts in general] are.

en Montana is one big playground for scouts. I don't think you'll find a Boy Scout troop with more camping opportunities than Troop 17.

en Older water crafts, like dug-out canoes, have been found throughout the world, but these are the oldest sea-going ships. More significantly, the next oldest [ships ever discovered] in Egypt are 700 years younger.

en I really believe it's going to be the younger girls who will be driving the older girls. I can see the younger girls stepping up and being leaders on the team. As a group, this team has a lot of potential.

en When I was a kid, I was surrounded by girls: older sisters, older girl cousins just down the street. en These guys have pulled together and played some good basketball. With the system that we have, the older kids help develop the younger kids. And when it's the younger kids' turn, they know how to win. When they're put in that spot, they come through.

en When you're working with little kids - like at the basketball tournament we had last week - it was fun working with some of the younger girls and knowing that they have goals of someday being a varsity player as well.
